"Nearly 1 week since my last round of chemo. Slowly getting my normal level of energy back. One day at a time. Hot flashes are setting in and they’re miserable + sporadic bone aches at night when I’m lying down. Other than that I’m okay. Anxiously awaiting surgery. My name is Victoria and I am raising funds in support of my sister, Ingrid, in her journey through breast cancer treatment and recovery. Ingrid, a single mom, planned to spend the year focused on her son, Isaiah, & supporting him through his last year of high school, but the universe had different plans. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer - Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. She is currently undergoing chemo and will have a double mastectomy surgery mid-February. Ingrid is such a stellar human, so hard-working and a wonderful mom to her beautiful son, my nephew. Let's help take a little pressure off of Ingrid so she can rest and recover.
