Darian is no stranger to the fight against cancer, she has lost both her mom and grandma to it, and has an aunt and cousin who are now survivors. She has spent her adult life being considered high risk, but hopeful that she would never have to face that battle; but in July of 2019 she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. At first she was devastated by the news, but has come to view this phase as an opportunity, a challenge with purpose - there will be many blessings to come through this journey, things to be grateful for, and many lives to touch. With her incredible husband, two kids, and friends by her side, she's ready to fight. She has a blog to follow her journey to becoming a survivor and to reach others who have been affected by cancer:
