10K for CF

Having grown up with a sibling with Cystic Fibrosis and seeing how much of a difference good treatment made to them made me want to give other people a chance to grow up like he did where CF was just a couple of pills in the morning and some physio to do in the evening.
My brother is a prime example of what not letting your illness define you looks like. He is a kind, healthy and generous human being even with the misfortune of having CF. Having said that, he treats it as a blessing rather than a curse and continues to provide inspiration to people around him as a human and not just as someone with CF.
Having also met people like Josh Llewellyn-Jones OBE and seeing what a positive impact these kinds of role models and charities like the CF Trust have on people who suffer with the same illnesses makes you want to be a part of the cause. Therefore when I saw the 10K fundraiser the charity was doing I felt obliged to help out and do as much as I could to participate.
