I am Rachelle Bruno. I have been a registered nurse since 1978 who became a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner in 1995. My entire career has been devoted to taking care of women from their teenage years to childbearing years, to menopause and beyond.

I did so by caring for women during their pregnancy, their birthing experience, their postpartum period and their wellbeing throughout the normal lifecycles from puberty to menopause. I did that for a total of 45 years until February 22, 2023 when I received a devastating diagnosis. I was told that I have stage 3 pancreatic cancer.

After having had 14 rounds of chemotherapy followed by 2 surgeries, six weeks of daily targeted radiation/chemo treatments, all traditional treatment options have been exhausted and the cancer has now metastasized. I am setting up this go fund me account in an effort to try out alternative treatments not covered by insurance and to provide for sustaining my life while receiving such treatments.
