As many of you know, my mother passed away unexpectedly on August 24th.  It has been incredibly hard on my family, especially my step-father, though there is no way her would ever admit just how hard.  She had a life insurance policy, but it won't cover what happened to her.  It was an accidental death policy, and apparently 'ruptured colon' is not covered in accidents.. Because that makes sense.  Luckily, her student loans will be forgiven, but my step-father now has to pay for her funeral and some medical bills that insurance doesn't quite cover.  I love my step-dad very much, and he doesn't deserve to go into debt to pay bills when he should be spending time mourning for my mother.  Please spread the word, donate what you can, and help my dad out in paying some of these bills so he can spend his energy worrying about more important things.
