My name is Chris Ormond and I’m starting this to help cover my wife Blair’s medical expenses. She is currently in the ICU at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.

Blair has been in the hospital for over a month already. She originally went in to have her gallbladder removed, but they noticed issues in her kidneys and liver while they were operating. She is now facing liver and possible kidney transplants.

Since Blair was switching employers, she went into the hospital the day before her start date at the new company. Had she gotten sick one day later, the benefits for her new job would have kicked in. She is not receiving any income and now has to pay $900 each month for Cobra insurance. 

Any funds raised here will go toward her care. I have continued to work Monday-Friday to ensure our home expenses are covered, only able to stay with her at the hospital on the weekend.
