Hey my name is Katelyn and I’m starting this fundraiser for the medical expenses of my beautiful mother, Lorie Beam.

Sometimes when things in life are going so well and all we feel is happiness we forget how fragile it can all be. I forgot.

Sometimes we have to know when to take a step back and ask for help. There are a lot of ways I can help my momma but medical expenses is not one of them.

Yesterday morning (10/5) she woke up unable to catch her breath. We called the ambulance to take her to the hospital and on the way there she went into respiratory arrest. She was intubated in the ambulance and was taken to the hospital where she is currently stable in the ICU on a ventilator.

We are praying, dear god are we praying, for her recovery.

I know times are tough for everyone one, but I also know so many people who love her light as much as I do that may want to help. She is truly the best and brightest person I know. She’s my best friend.
