Dan Miller Memorial Contributions

Daniel J. Miller, age 44, of Englewood passed away at 6:48 a.m. on Sunday, June 29, 2014 in Hospice of Dayton. Born on March 15, 1970 in Troy, Ohio he is a son of James Eugene Miller of Quincy and the late Versie "Betsy" (Cantrel) Miller. In addition to his father Dan is survived by a daughter, Kiara Danielle Porter, three sisters and brothers-in-law: Terri and Todd Canter of Piqua; Becky and Ed McGowen of DeGraff; Lisa and Rich Addison of Troy, several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Dan was a 1989 graduate of Miami East High School, Casstown. He attended Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church, Tipp City and was a team leader at Yamada North America in South Charleston, OH. His family would like to express their gratitude to all who supported him during his battle with cancer. Memorial funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2014 in the True Life Community Church, 56 Foss Way, Troy, Ohio with Pastor Chris Daum officiating. There will be a celebration of Dan's life from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service in True Life Community Church on Sunday. Interment will be in Fletcher Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions are being taken to help with expenses.
