We are so saddened to inform the community of the sudden and unexpected death of Max Wright on November 28th at the young age of 29.
His sister Cassie, his mother Tina and his father Sean are left with a painful and tragic empty void in their lives.
Max was one of a kind. He spent his life selflessly helping others, asking nothing in return. He was humble about the help he gave, often quick to say yes when called upon.
He helped his parents run the ins and outs of Creekside Coffee. If you ever went to Creekside when it was in business, chances are you saw Max, quickly and quietly making drinks for customers on the espresso machine, which he also mechanically maintained.
Max shared his ingenuity with the community as he helped many of us fix and build the things that we needed to make our lives work.
Max was sharp and had a knack for figuring out what others couldn't. He had a love for mountain biking, and loved to bike the trails in Sedona with his sister Cassie.
He also provided support for his father who suffers from Parkinson's and his mother, who had multiple injuries this year that have made it difficult for her to work.
After this unexpected loss, the family that we love and has selflessly served our community; are left with much to carry. A great deal of their financial and personal support is now gone, and they are currently left with funeral costs, medical bills and house payments without the help of Max.
We are posting this to help ease the emotional and financial difficulty for Tina, Sean, and Cassie so they may have space to grieve during this time without having to worry about money.
All of our love and support to Max's Family.
