Road To back to the Olympics 2026
Donation protected
Hello and thank you for visiting my campaign! My name is Anthony Watson, I am a 2018 Winter Olympian who is raising funds to get back onto the ice to continue pursuing a second Olympics in the sport of skeleton.
For those of you who don't know what skeleton is it is a solo sport where a person lies on their stomach going head-first down an ice track up to speeds over 80 miles per hour. Here you will find a link describing everything that goes into my sport.

The Olympics being an organization for amateur athletes to compete in, no athlete or participate receive payment for competing or being involved. We are all responsible to fund ourselves and rely heavy on donation and token sponsorships until we are endorsed or fully funded athletes. Like many Olympians before me who have worked hard and trained tirelessly I made history as the first ever Olympian to compete in the Skeleton for the country of Jamaica. Now I look to make history once again as the first-ever skeleton athlete to compete in the Olympics for the country of Puerto Rico representing two small islands in the same sport.
No athlete has ever made it to the Olympics on their ownI can't do it on my own. It has always taken the collective effort of strong support system of coaches, trainor's, sponsors and family behind them. Sadly due to the lack of funding I have missed the last season of competition but am fired up and ready to make the most of the season ahead in spite of covid to continue to pursue my Olympic dream.

This is what is needed to be an elite athlete. In the end the two main keys to success in this sport are your equipment and the coach you have to help you know how to use it. I have made to the Olympics broke and homeless with nothing but the sheer desire and determination to win. I do realize being give a large amount is a serious responsibility and will make the best choices with full transparency of every penny, and every resource given in hopes of once again making Olympic history.
Donations are all tax deductable and with the new rule 40 restriction being abolished athletes are now allowed to promote personal sponsors at the Olympic games, and companies may now promote and use my image, and likeness during the Olympic games.
