Palestine Awareness Week: Give to a Cause!

We are Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) chapters across Michigan, united in organizing Palestine Awareness Week to raise awareness and provide direct humanitarian aid to Palestinians affected by the ongoing crisis in Gaza.

Who we are:

We are student-led chapters from universities across Michigan, advocating for justice, peace, and human rights in Palestine.

Where we’re from:

We are based in Michigan, United States, and collaborating with local businesses and student organizations throughout the state.

Who we’re supporting:

We are raising funds for HEAL Palestine, a registered nonprofit humanitarian organization providing healthcare, education, and psychosocial services to families and children in Gaza. HEAL Palestine is based in the U.S. and operates on the ground in Gaza. 

How funds will be used and distributed:

All proceeds raised will be donated directly to HEAL Palestine through their official channels. None of the funds will go toward any form of military or conflict-related activities. We are solely focused on humanitarian aid to help those affected by displacement, trauma, and loss.

Event & Initiative:

On Friday, April 11th, we are organizing a peaceful protest and launching our Funds for Falasteen initiative, where we’ll be collecting donations and partnering with local businesses in solidarity. We hope this effort helps raise both awareness and support for critical relief work in Gaza.
