Awaken Church Residency Program

Hello everyone, my name is Christian Rubin (Brewer). Recently my twin brother and I legally changed our last name to Brewer to honor our grandfather who raised us. I am a recent graduate of Holmes Bible College in Greenville, SC. I have been given the opportunity to work with Awaken Church in Charleston starting in September 2022. Awaken Church is community minded and driven to make a change in the local culture. Holmes Bible College helped me gain theological understanding of the Bible. Now Awaken’s residency program will give me practical, hands on opportunities to experience how to serve. Furthermore, this program will give me an idea of the day to day operations and responsibilities needed to smoothly run a church. That being said, Awaken Church is going to match whatever funds I raise as a paid internship to supplement my income for the 12 month program. I am excited for this opportunity and to see what God brings from it. Whether it be 1$, 100$, 1000$, or simply your prayers, I am thankful for your investment in me.
