Tuition for Graduate School

Friends and family,
As many of you know, upon graduating from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor's degree in Art/ Illustration, I became certified in TESL and spent a year in France working as an English language assistant in their public school system. This year, I remained in France to improve my French language skills, living and working as an au pair with a French family. While my degree in Illustration was invaluable in developing my artistic skills and creative style, I find it has not given me the practical skills needed in many of the creative career fields today. I recently applied to the École de Conde, a graduate school for Graphic Design based here in Toulouse, France. I interviewed last week and am delighted to report that I have been accepted! My French host family and I have researched this school and it is well known, and recognized by the RNCP as Niveau 1, which basically means it’s recognized internationally as being a school that succeeds in preparing its graduates for the job the program was designed for.
This would be the next and final step in my formal education, and would give me the tools and experience needed to work as a professional graphic designer here in France and beyond. The school facilitates projects that will develop my work in a wide range of skills, establish my professional portfolio, and connect me with internships and employers during school and after graduating.
Unfortunately, I find myself without the resources for this next step. I have a job lined up over the summer and intend to work hard and save as much as I can for school, and as a student in France I am allowed (and fully intend to) to work 20 hours a week. However, the cost of tuition alone for the first year totals at $7800. The second year involves an internship, the pay from which will go toward the tuition. I’m reaching out to anyone who would be willing to help me fund my graduate studies. A deposit is due by May 9 and tuition in full is due by July 15, 2019. Any donations would be appreciated as quickly as possible! If my goal has not been met by the specified date, all donations will be returned.
