Ashley Wade survived a drug related incident, and subsequently suffered multiple strokes on both sides of her brain. Her official diagnosis is anoxic brain injury. This has left her in a state of cognitive and physical impairment, of which she will remain in the rest of her natural life.

Ashley can feel our touches, hear our voices, and reacts to stimuli. She recognizes who we are.  Awade is attempting to speak simple phrases, and following some commands. She still has her sense of humor, and loves inside jokes. Music soothes her. 

Due to the nature of her case, her condition can change day to day. She may take two steps foreword  and three steps back. A definite prognosis is unknown. Please keep this in mind as updates come in. 

This campaign is to raise monetary support for her continuing care.After medical bills, all remaining proceeds are to be placed in a Special Needs Trust, to support Ashley, the rest of her life.
