Back to School in Oaxaca!
Tax deductible
Twelve years ago, a group of kids came for a week of camp at Rancho Tunillo in Oaxaca. Adventures in Life helped make that week possible. One of the messages those kids heard was that they needed to work hard and study if they wanted to get ahead in life.
They also heard us tell them that if they wanted to study, we'd help. Now some of those young people from those first camps are trying to go to college. They want to be dentists, nurses, nutritionists and agronomists.
But they need our help.
After tuition, there is not much money left in their family budgets for room and board. Our partner Rancho Tunillo will ensure each of these students has plenty to eat. But AIL needs $10000.00 to make sure their new home is safe and ready to go.
We're already working on this because school starts soon. Your donation will help us finish remodeling a building on the property that will include separate bedrooms, new windows, doors, a bathroom with a shower, electricity and a septic system.
These young people, mostly from our ongoing work in the Amatlanes, serve with us whenever they can. If you've worked alongside us in Oaxaca, you probably know some of them.
So will you join us?
Will you help me and the Adventures in Life team reach our goal of $10000.00 so this group of future leaders can follow their calling, study and be prepared to serve their pueblos in the future?
