For the first time in school history, Avon High School has earned the privilege of sending a 4xmile relay team comprised of its top track runners to the Outdoor Nationals, presented by Nike in Eugene Oregon!

Nick Alphonso, a graduated senior, Lucas Hester, Jack Martin and Carver Morgan, all rising seniors, will be traveling to the Historic Hayward Stadium, the home of the Olympic Trials, to compete in the 4X1mile relay race on July 2, 2021! Jack Martin will also be competing in the individual mile on July 3.

This GoFundMe is being set up to help defray the cost of travel, hotel and food for the team for the five days they will be in Oregon preparing and racing.

These young men have appreciated all the moral support they have been shown by the fans in the stands and are honored to represent Avon, CT on the national stage and make our town proud!

All proceeds will go directly to fund the expenses of this trip, anything raised above the requested amount will be given directly to the Avon XC/T&F athletic department.
