Help us avoid becoming homeless

We are in immediate need of $600 in order to prevent the loss of both of our cars, which are the only means we have available to get to work; since there are no public transportation options or even cabs where we live, loss of the cars will mean the loss of my wife's job and since we live in a weekly-pay motel that will mean we will be homeless and carless in less than a month.
Our cars are both in title pawn situations and they do not allow grace periods. We have only until the 10th of each month to gather the minimum amount of $600 to keep the cars, but that will only put things off for another few weeks. Our cars are both far behind in their payments so they will be subject to repossession again just days after that minimum payment. For that reason we are asking for at least $2,400 in order to get them back into on-time status. The total we still owe on both cars is around $3,000.
My wife has a full-time job but I have been unable to find work that my health will allow me to do... a desk job essentially, as I cannot stand or walk for extended periods or lift heavy objects anymore. Her job doesn't cover much more than rent at the motel, food and gas. I am searching every day for suitable work but have not held down a steady job since last November.
We have exhausted every other avenue including family and friends. At this point the only thing we have left is to rely on the kindness of the public to help get us out of this mess. If we didn’t have these car payments we could actually be saving a little money; as it is, without help soon our fear is that we will be homeless, carless and living on the streets within a few days.
Can you please help us stay in our home by helping us save our cars? Any amount you can contribute will go a long way towards our goal.
Thank you so very much.
