Crystal, my sister, she is 33 and has been through so much since August 2019. While she was pregnant with her second child, a large "cyst" was found near her ovary. The doctor saw no urgency even though this was gigantic in size and causing Crystal a lot of discomfort and fevers and her cancer antigens were on the higher side. They gave her antibiotics thinking she had an infection but she did not. The "cyst" was so large it was suffocating her ovary and Fallopian tube. She had to go into surgery and it ended up being an Ovarian Cancer tumor. Due to the size of the tumor, the doctor was unable to take all of it out. She then needed a second surgery to get a complete hysterectomy. After that, she was informed that because the size of the tumor, she will need preventative chemo therapy. Since her body has gone through so much trauma, she also has to see a holistic doctor that she has to travel to Oregon to receive. As you can see, all this is adding up to an amount that has been overwhelmingly burdening to her and her husband. They are struggling since her husband is her only source of income and their only source of health insurance. While he is at work, she has to deal with all this and take care of two children. It definitely has taken a toll on my dear sister. Please stand by her and show support that can ease some of her stress!! She can and WILL beat this disease!! Please help her fight! Thank you so much!
