Aviyon's Athletic Foundation
On May 27, 2019 Aviyon Partridge, 12 y/o, 6'4 lost his life to an accidental drowning at Hyco Lake. Unfortunately, he didn't know how to swim, nor was he wearing a life jacket. The community that he resides in does not have a public facility that provides swimming, basketball, baseball, soccer, and tennis lessons for all. Aviyon was very athletic. He excelled in basketball, baseball, and football. He desired to play in the NBA for the Golden State Warriors. His dream was to follow in the steps of his idol, Kevin Durant. He was definitely headed that way. He was a gentle giant, with a big heart and big feet. He wore a size 15 shoe. We don't want his death to be in vain. Please everybody, anybody, anyone, help my sons legacy live on. If he can help save another life by offering fundamental living skills, and a recreational facility to help keep these kids out the judicial system and offer hope for a brighter future he will live on. If one kid makes it to the NBA through his program, then he made it. We also want to promote safety, awareness, and most of all prevention.
