Hi. My name is Avison. I am a 14 yr old homeschooler in Bristol. I am fundraising to help support the community in finding humane, and non-lethal alternatives to save our flock of geese on the Memorial Boulevard.

The Memorial Boulevard is a place to honor the people who have served our community. The Veterans Council wanted the park to be cleaner from geese droppings. The Board of Park Commissioners were discussing a plan on how to manage the flock of geese. These plans included euthanizing some or all of the geese.

The community came together at a town meeting to speak their thoughts and offer other options to save the geese without euthanizing. These included changing the habitat, scare devices, lawn treatments, and clean-up equipment.

I am a lover of geese and there are other options available to handle the situation. I am raising money to help the Veterans Council and the Board of Park Commissioners fund this new plan.
