AVID Scholarship Fund

Hi my name is Dana Nguyen and I am the AVID teacher/coordinator at Santa Ana High School. AVID is a program that typically helps students who are "in the middle" get the structure, guidance and support they need not only to get into college but to be successful in college. At our school, 95% of our AVID students are admitted to college and 93% graduate college within 5 years.

Pre-pandemic the Orange County sector of AVID through the Orange County Department of Education offered millions of dollars to AVID students throughout Orange County to continue their dreams of higher education. Since the pandemic, many companies have pulled out of scholarship donations and many fundraising opportunities no longer exist. A year ago our AVID program decided to raise scholarship funds specifically for Santa Ana High School AVID students. We need your help!! Many of our traditional fundraising opportunities have been shut down by our school district, but we want to continue to raise funds to support our deserving students and their dreams of college success!! Please consider donating to help us reach our goal of $5,000 in scholarship money for incredibly hard-working deserving students!!
