For a future Made in Australia, not in China

This election is important for our democracy, national security and the future shape of our economy.

 

On the eve of the federal election, China's Foreign Minister will touch down on our doorstep to sign its security pact with the Solomon Islands.

 

Our leaders have ignored the Chinese government's threat to free and democratic Australia for far too long.

 

They have blindly put profit above human rights. They have tied our economic future to a foreign country that has weaponised its trading relationship to bully us and interfere in our politics, universities and community.

 

This election is our chance to help chart a new path. An Australia no longer beholden to the Chinese government.  It's our chance to demonstrate Australians value human rights above profit.

 

As a first-generation Australian and a former Tibetan refugee, I do not take our freedom and democracy for granted.

 

This election is our chance to build a future Made in Australia, not in China.

 

I've been taking this message to the voters of Bennelong and the Australian public, using these digital mobile billboards and targeted social media advertising. We have 10 days to keep pushing this message.

 

But I need some urgent funding to ensure I can continue taking our message to voters until the polling day on 21 May.
