Hello Everyone,
My name is Ariana Reyes, daughter of Javier Reyes. I created this GoFund me in order to help my family with legal fees.
On July 27th my dad was taken by ICE while on his way to work with my little brother(Adrian). For those of you who don't know my brother, he has Autism and at times has seizures that are caused by stress. My dad worked for a pool cleaning company which allowed him to have some freedom at work. My brother would like going with him because at the end of the day he would earn his money for helping my dad.
When this incident occurred it was hard on all of my family but more on Adrian. Everyday is difficult for him because most of his time was spent with my dad. Adrian wants to see his dad and doesn't understand why he can only talk to him over phone and not see him in person.
Along with my dad working for a pool company he would do a couple of others on his own. My mom along with some of our family friends have been working to clean the pools my dad would do because it brought in the money we needed to pay bills or other important things. However; financially we are still struggling with all the cost of lawyer fees and trying to maintain the bills.
During this unpredictable year we have had to make so many sacrifices as a family. My mom took a leave of work to help with my dads pool cleaning . I lost my full time job in August even though I was able to get a part time job I don't get enough hours to help my family. So during the day I do my online school and help my brother with his school work. Sometimes I work at night and on other days I go help my mom with pool cleaning.
I know I am creating this GoFund Me a couple months late but we really didn't think it would take this long or cost so much money. Any donation is truly appreciated and I want to Thank You for taking the time to read this page.I have attached a letter at the bottom of this to show how it has affected Adrian and really describes how it has affected my family and I.
