Avery's Name & Gender Marker Change

Hello Friends, 

As many of you know it is very likely that it will be become much more challenging for me (and many other transgender people) to change my name and gender marker on official documents after January 20th. 

I am kicking it into high gear to try and get as many documents changed as quickly as possible. Due to the complexity of this process ,and the fact that I will have to work with documents across two different states (and potentially 3),  I have decided to hire a local transgender lawyer to help me get everything in order. 

The attorney fees plus the filing fees and background check required will cost a minimum of $1,600. All of the funds I raise through this account will be used for the fees associated directly with this process.
