Avery's Road to Wimbledon

Hi everyone,
I’m Avery, and I’m 14 years old with a huge goal: to become a professional tennis player. Tennis has been my passion since I was 9, and I’ve worked hard to get where I am today.
Right now, I’m ranked in the top 10 for my age group in Canada, but I can go much further. I’ve got an amazing opportunity to take my game to the next level, and I need your help to make it happen.
My Tennis Journey
Since I first picked up a racket, I’ve spent countless hours training and competing in tournaments to improve my skills. Being ranked in the top 10 in Canada for my age group is something I’m really proud of, but it’s just the beginning.
Recently, I achieved some of my biggest wins yet, including my first international ITF Junior tournament victory at the Saint-Francois International Junior Tournament in Guadeloupe.

This year I also won the Montego Bay Jamaica Junior International and the US Virgin Islands Cup—all of which are international tournaments hosted by the International Tennis Federation.
These successes have only fueled my determination to pursue my dream of playing professionally, and I’m ready to put in the work to get there.
From Sudbury to the World Stage
I’m proud to call Sudbury, Ontario, my home. Northern Ontario isn’t exactly known for producing tennis stars, but I’m determined to change that. With every serve and every match, I’m representing Sudbury, showing that talent can come from anywhere—even from a place where tennis courts are often covered in snow! I want to put Sudbury on the tennis map, and I need my community to rally behind me.

The Next Big Step
I’ve been given the chance to train at a top tennis academy in Naples, Florida—an opportunity that could be a game-changer for me. The academy offers world-class coaching, state-of-the-art facilities, and the chance to compete against some of the best young players. But, like most great opportunities, it comes with a big price tag.
Why I Need Your Support
Here’s what the money would help cover:
Training Fees: For coaching, fitness training, and everything I need to get better.
Education: Training full-time in Florida means I must attend a Florida-based school.
Travel: To compete in tournaments across Canada, the USA, and internationally.
Equipment: The gear I need to stay on top of my game.
Nutrition and Wellness: To keep me healthy and in peak condition.
My Goal
I’m trying to raise $100,000 to cover these costs over the next few years. With your support, I can focus fully on my training and competitions without the stress of financial barriers holding me back.
How You Can Help
Any donation, no matter the amount, would mean so much to me. If you’re able to donate $50 or more, I’d love to send you a special thank you—a tennis ball autographed by me! Just provide your mailing address, and I’ll make sure it gets to you. And if you can’t donate, just sharing this page with others would be a huge help too. Every bit of support gets me closer to achieving my dream.
Let’s Put Sudbury on the Tennis Map!
Thank you so much for believing in me and supporting my journey. Together, we can show the world that Sudbury has what it takes to produce a tennis champion. With your help, I’m confident I can reach my goals and maybe even inspire others in our community to chase their dreams too.
Love,

Avery
