Avery is a 10 month old boy diagnosed with RMS, Rhabdomyoscarcoma, a rare muscle cancer found in children typically between the ages of 2-6.  Avery is 1% of children diagnosed with this cancer because of its location.  Due to his age, treatment is very difficult.  Amy and Corey will be working with a team of doctors and specialists, as well as an in-home care team, to come up with a specific plan tailored to meet Avery's needs.  As of right now, Avery will require 40 weeks of weekly chemo treatments.

This diagnosis will impact the Quarles family financially.   Due to future  medical, travel, and overall care for their children, Amy and Corey anticipate this will disrupt their ability to work.  Donations will go toward off setting their financial needs in terms of medical expenses, travel expenses, and more.  Other needs may arise in the future such as childcare, meal assistance, lawn care, and other life essentials.
