Avery Grace Resor - Medical Bills
Donation protected
Avery Grace Resor, beautiful daughter of April and Chad Resor, arrived on 9/26, a whopping 4 months early. Miss Avery weighed just 1 pound, 6 ounces and measured 11 3/4 inches at birth, which makes her a micro-preemie. Though she is small, she is mighty! Avery is also a rainbow baby--brother Tripp is in heaven. Brother Calib is at home and looking forward to the day when they can all be together.
Avery is such a special little girl in so many ways and more wanted than any baby I've ever known. And while she chose to surprise everyone so early, we know that everyone keeping her in our thoughts and prayers will help her grow stronger and healthier every day.
With my job experience, I can tell you with certainty that the costs associated with micro-preemies are astronomical. Easily in the $750K - $2M range JUST for the hospital bill. Avery is looking at many months in the hospital, plus physician's charges, home physical and occupational therapy as well as many more. Thankfully, the Resor's have medical insurance, but their annual out of pocket maximum is $10,000 and they will easily have to pay this full amount both this year and next. Also, April is on disability for 6 weeks so she isn't receiving her full salary so that is another financial burdeon on them.
I know that these aren't the easiest of times for any of us, but if you are able to spare any little bit, I know that April and Chad will be extremely grateful for your help.
Please keep them, Kalib and Miss Avery in your thoughts and prayers.
