Avery Sebben Needs Our Support

As many of you know, Avery lost her beloved bass man and Atlanta's music scene lost a treasured friend, talented teacher and player when Dustin "Big Red" Sargent passed away suddenly on September 19.

He was her partner in life, love and music.

Nothing can take away the shock and sorrow of losing Red so suddenly and so young, but we can all help Avery to meet expenses - known and unknown at this point - for the next few months as she makes her way through an extremely difficult time. She no longer has Red's income to combine with her own, but she has the same bills and responsibilities they had together, plus some.

I don't have to tell you that Avery is an amazing, loyal and kind young woman. She and Red were a unit in so many ways. She took care of Red, and he took care of her.

Now it's our turn to step up and help care for Avery during this most difficult of transitions. It's the least we can do for her and in memory of Red.
