Avery Nickerson Medical Bills

After several anxious days and a CT scan, this prognosis was confirmed. He has Sagittal Craniosynostosis - a condition where the plates in his skull fused together too early and his little brain has no room to grow. Neurosurgery is required to correct it, coupled with 9 months of extensive postoperative helmet therapy.
After much prayer and seeking the best possible surgeon and facility for their sweet baby, they have decided to take him to the Pediatric Neurosurgery/Craniofacial unit at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, TN. Since time is of the essence, due to the nature of the quickly growing skull and soft spots, this process is moving very fast. Our Avery will undergo surgery this Friday, July 10.
This has been such a whirlwind and this young family was not financially prepared for something of this magnitude. If you feel so moved, please donate to help cover some of the cost of medical bills. If you are unable to contribute, PLEASE lift Avery and his parents up in constant prayer!
Babies are resilient but this is a major cranial reconstructive surgery that is expected to take 12 weeks to fully heal. They are so nervous for the coming days, weeks, and months, but have comfort in knowing they have an army of support behind them and an unfailing God beside them!
