Help Avery Lerner Kick Cancers Ass!!!

On Tuesday September 5th our family’s world was turned upside down when we learned our 3.5 year old niece had a brain tumor.

The tumor (~4cm x ~3cm) was located in the back of her head and was pressing against her cerebellum. She had a 6 hour surgery on Wednesday September 6th. They were able to remove about 95% of the tumor leaving a thin layer on her brain stem.

We learned that the tumor was cancerous. Avery has been diagnosed with Medullablastoma.

Avery is home recovering from surgery, and preparing for chemo and radiation.

She’s the bravest little girl, and her parents are the most incredible advocates!
