Avery L. Jones - Memorial and Hardship Funds
Donation protected
My name is Trevor M. Jones, Avery’s son. On Thursday, 8/4/2022, my sisters and I found our dad passed away peacefully in his home. This was absolutely unexpected. As many of you know, Avery had been living one of the most healthy and active times in his life.
We have lost a dad, grandpa, brother, coworker, friend, concert partner, movie buddy, confidant, and a significant supporter in all of our lives. Our family is devastated at the loss of a pillar of our family. He will be missed dearly.
This being so unexpected, there is a lot to take on with no preparation or experience for any of this. The outpouring of love has been truly touching, as he brought light to many of our lives. It has also been brought to my attention that people would like to contribute to and attend a memorial service for him. The details of those services are still in the works and will be announced ASAP, with ample notice given for those needing to travel to Sacramento, CA.
I have never had to do this before, but I feel I should be absolutely transparent. Please know that if you are contributing, the remaining funds left after the costs of services related to our dad's death will be split among family members experiencing dire financial hardships in these trying times. We do not take this or your contributions lightly. Any remaining funds will only go to the most essential costs left behind in our lives.
The loss of our father has brought many unexpected costs to our family’s lives, leaving some of us in very vulnerable positions. As some of you are aware, other recent losses experienced by our family in the past weeks have only made this more difficult. When and how Avery passed on could not be foreseen. Thank you so much for your contributions to alleviating the hardships that have been left behind. Thank you again for all the love.
With Love and Thanks,
-RIP to Avery Leyton Jones (02/06/1963 - 08/04/2022)-
