Avery "June Bug" Wolf
Donation protected
Many of you know this sweet little 3 year old girl Avery "JUNE BUG" Wolf. Avery was admitted to Children's Hospital of WI for mycoplasma pneumonia on October 27th and stayed through Halloween. After looking much improved, she was discharged and able to go back home to Sheboygan. Unfortunately, she started to experience the same symptoms again on November 10th, so her mom drove her back down to Children's to have her looked at. Avery was immediately admitted and has been working VERY hard to fight the RSV that she's been diagnosed with ever since. She is hooked up to a million machines, breathing and feeding tubes, and has to be heavily sedated. Her lungs are currently working at a 20% capacity, while the breathing tube is doing the other 80%. Her little body is trying to combat the RSV, along with the secondary bacterial infection in her lungs.
Personally, having a daughter the same age AND Avery being my niece, the hardest part has been taking all this in and waiting for some sort of miracle. She has many people praying for her, including her family, friends, and their local church body in hopes of Avery getting better quickly. Kurt and Charity have been amazing through this difficult time.
I'm hoping this GFM campaign will bring family, friends, and community together to help lighten the load for the Wolf family with their medical bills, travel expenses, lost wages from not working, food costs, etc. Fortunately, they have had many hands and hearts offer to help with their youngest child Caleb so that they can focus on Avery's healing. Avery, let alone any child, should not have to go through this. Thank you so much for taking the time to care for and support this family, and please continue to pray God grants the Doctors WISDOM to discover the underlying issue and future treatment plans.
