Avery Elizabeth Morrow

Avery was involved in an ATV accident on Friday, May 3, 2019. She was flown to LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN, where she is currently in ICU.  She sustained serious injuries to her pelvic region, right leg, and right arm. She has several lacerations, broken bones, a battered bladder, and shattered pelvic area. She is currently heavily sedated and has a urostomy bag. She has had two surgeries with a third to follow in the coming days,  as well as a couple of blood transfusions. Avery is a very strong little girl that has an unimaginable amount of faith for a child! She has a very long road to recovery and we are just in the first few days! Doctors said that she will not be able to walk for at least six months and will face 2-3 years of rehabilitation.  The amount of medical bills, physical therapy, medical equipment needed, trips to Memphis for check-ups, and other medical expenses will be overwhelming. Her family has not left her side since the accident and ask for your prayers in the days and months ahead of them. Before the accident, Avery was a very active 12 year old, who loved cheerleading, competing in pageants, playing outdoors, going to church, and spending time with her family and friends.
