Hello, My name is Charlene, and I am the great aunt of Avery. I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart to share some devastating news. On June 28, Avery was air lifted from the county hospital to Children's Mercy in KC, where we received the heartbreaking diagnosis that she has nine lesions of cancer in her tiny, three-year-old body. This news has shaken our family to the core, but our primary focus now is to fight this battle together. We are determined to do everything in our power to ensure that Avery remains with us for the rest of OUR lives. Today, I am setting up this GoFundMe campaign to provide support for Avery's parents. Our immediate goal is to assist them in getting their minivan serviced, new tires, and any necessary repairs, ensuring that it is in peak operating condition. This is crucial as the van will be the lifeline transporting Avery to her countless appointments and treatments. I will diligently keep this page updated as we receive more information about Avery's condition and treatment plan. Currently, we are anxiously awaiting the results of additional tests scheduled to be completed this week, following the conclusion of the July 4th holiday.
