Husband in Hospital

My husband, Joe, had a very rare surgery back in 1986 that now severely needs repaired.  They removed his gall bladder and bile duct (which connects the liver to the gall bladder) because there was a cyst. They then had to cut his intestines and hook them up to his liver. On more than one time he has had to go into the hospital short term for different problems with his stomach/liver.

This time it's much harder. They have to cut out more intestine and cut away old scar tissue blocking liver function. As many of you know, he and I both own our own businesses. There is no vacation pay or unemployment or workers comp if we get sick or miss work. He has been sick and in and out of three different hospitals since last Wednesday already (like 9 days) without income. It's starting to show.

Meanwhile I have needed help from my parents to  watch the boys in the evening when I have to work as a hair stylist. But I've also had to increase the amount of daycare the past week during the day when I go in early.

I normally don't ask, but as a Christian I know the Lord will bless us. Our Church, Monclova Road Baptist has already started helping by having some meals made. But Joe is most likely going to be in Toledo Hospital still through next Wednesday or Thursday, and it could take a couple of weeks to regain strength for work (they'll be making a large incision in his stomach). 

We were finally coming out of a very hard winter, thanks to our church's and family's help, but it's hard to ask again especially when the need is greater. 

The money is for basically paying the bills that come up every week, like mortgage, health insurance, credit cards, groceries, heat, gas, water, fuel, car insurance, etc.  
We really appreciate any help you'd like to offer, and in no way do I want people to feel guilted into giving. We're just looking to see if we can get some help so we don't fall behind again.
