Avent Park Deer
Donation protected
To bring back an old Oxford tradition, John & Lauren Massey and John Cofield are asking for donations to buy two deer to replace the old ones on the hill at Avent Park in Oxford, MS.
The cost for two does, professionally painted, and delivered to the park from Michigan City is about $1000. And extra money will be donated to the park. The list of individual donors (not dollar amt) will be published with the newspaper story.
Many local children through the years have been photographed on the deer. Hopefully, with your help, many more will be able to create those same childhood memories.
