The good news is that our friends and colleagues in Houston are safe and accounted for. And we anticipate our Houston location to be operating at full capacity next week.
But the impact to the Houston area is devastating. In some cases, Avella staff members have lost homes and vehicles.
Rather than contributing to the Red Cross or other very legitimate groups, Avella has opted to create this GoFundMe campaign that will directly support the Avella staff impacted by the storm.
Staff interested in requesting funds from this campaign will be asked to fill out a short form in the coming week. This will help Avella leadership appropriately disperse the funds to those most in need.
To kickstart the campaign, the Avella leadership team is personally contributing $6,500.
