Bradenton does not have adequate precautions and crossings for those who need to use this intersection (where the accident happened) as a bus stop or just cross the street. Many people have been struck because of this, and my daughter was one of them. The police said in their report that she was just chipped by a car when in reality she was airborne, fell to the ground, lost consciousness, and ended up with a fractured foot and multiple abrasions. She is now limited to movement. As a very athletic, hyper, outgoing child, she now walks with a walker.

The hospital gave her a walker that she has to use but she still needs items such as supplies- like shower chair and one knee scooter so she can get around school and not miss too many days, and counseling for the traumatic incident that we cannot escape because we live so close to the crime scene. At this time, we need just a little more help with so much more. Thank you all in advance.
