On Aug 6th I got a large scare when I had to take my daughter Ava to the ER fearing she may have covid. After being checked out she was rushed from our local hospital to a hospital in Sacramento (90 miles away) due to her blood sugar being so high and not lowering. I am happy to say after four days in the hospital she was finally released and is back home trying to feel better.
Ava has been diagnosed with diabetes and celiac disease by the doctors at the hospital. She is currently under special care for both issues for the next few months. I need help with medications (we know how much this costs), taking time off work too take her to all of these new doctor’s appointments, and gas since most being 180miles round trip to Sacramento.
Normally this would not be a big issue but after using every bit of extra money trying to rebuild from the camp fire and the covid slow down this has now become very hard on me (single parent) and I need any help I can get.
