Hello, Ava (8 y.r.s) has sickle cell anemia disease and has been approved to receive the bone marrow transplant cure at Duke Hospital this year. The chemotherapy will have negative effects on Ava’s fertility. She is scheduled to receive a fertility preservation surgery next month. Recently, insurance has unfortunately denied the coverage for the fertility procedure. Anything will help.
