Ava's Leadership Conference

Hi everyone! I was recently nominated by my Social Studies teacher, Ms. Stephanie Pickard to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference (JrNYLC) this summer in Washington DC. This nomination was bestowed upon me for my academic excellence and my strong leadership potential. The Conference offers a unique, immersive, educational opportunity to middle schoolers like me. At this conference, I will meet with other like-minded students from all around the country to workshop, visit historical sites, and further develop skills to become an effective leader.

I will also meet with Anthony Robles, an inspiring one-legged athlete who defeated all odds to become a three-time all-American wrestler. Proving that hard work and a strong belief in yourself can lead to success.
