In September my 27 year old sister Tyisha was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and to make things a little more difficult she was also pregnant with her second child. Ty as her friends and family call her is a beautiful, strong, caring and resilient woman. The road has been and will be tough and she is being strengthened and motivated to fight by the love for her 3 yr old daughter and unborn son. She has a lot of love and support from the people around her but her attitude keeps everyone else's spirits up. She's a FIGHTER!!!!!

Ty was a independent hair stylist prior to her diagnosis. Unfortunately she has been confined to the hospital almost 6 out of the last 8 weeks since her diagnosis. Ty was completely healthy one week and the next she had to determine treatment that wouldn't harm her son but also prolong her life.She has a difficult road ahead with all options of care being sought so she can be blessed to watch her children grow. Ty is currently in the hospital as Doctors try to treat an array of life threatening side effects that continue to arise. Finances have become a struggle for her family with meeting deductibles, copay and premiums in addition to living.Ty could use as much help as possible to ease the burden of having to worry about how things will get paid.
