I moved to San Diego couple of years back for work and life was going smoothly till March 2015. Everything changed one morning when I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).

In the last five months, after undergoing three rounds of Chemotherapy, the only hope of recovery was through a bone marrow transplantation. A bone marrow drive was conducted in San Diego in May to find a match. With time running out and unable to find a match, the doctors decided to go ahead with the transplantation using a partial match from my brother. The transplantation went ahead as planned last month but there is a long road to recovery.

Even though insurance covers majority of the expenses, there are lot of unforeseen expenses (Copay for Medication, Rent, Insurance, Food, and other travel expenses, just to name a few), which I need to take care of. Taking time off work is not helping the cause.

I have no other option but to reach out for help. If you can help out financially then that would be great and if you are not in a position to help, please keep me in your prayers.
