Hi! I'm Avalon. I am an artist, a writer, and an aspiring librarian (but current grad student)! Many of you also know I have hypermobile EDS.

Well, the joints in my fingers have become increasingly unstable and I need ring splints to help reduce the pain and keep them where they're supposed to be. Right now, driving, typing, holding a pencil or paintbrush, and most other things that require hand dexterity hurt after a few minutes. I am pushing through to do the things I love and care about but not without pain, in the long run the likelihood that I can continue to do that without causing damage to my joints is extremely low.

That said, ring splints are expensive. Even if I only focus on the top 2 problem fingers on each hand is around $500. Between school and the other medical battles I am currently fighting, that is just not within my budget.

Any support would be much appreciated, even putting a dent in that cost would relieve a truly wild amount of stress off my shoulders. <3
