Avalon Fun Run

On September 26th, we will be having our FIRST EVER Fun Run here at Avalon!

Each student will be running, walking, or rolling in their wheelchairs along a given track. You can choose to donate an amount of dollars per lap, or just a fixed amount. The money collected will support The Avalon Academy!

To get ready for this event, students will be reading a Fun Run book in class, will be preparing “pump it up” workout videos, and will be helping prepare the track for the big day. 

The funds our students raise during the Fun Run will be used to purchase essential items to enrich their education, including  technology, thematic unit classroom materials, and adapted equipment.

It’s estimated that our students will complete 20 laps on our track.

If you would like to sponsor a student for:

$1 a lap, consider donating $20

$5 a lap, consider donating $100

$10 a lap, consider donating $200

…and so on!

For every donation, a personalized thank you message and Fun Run photo will be sent your way!
