My name is Ava. I am a freshman at Burlington High School in Vermont. I have been given the opportunity to go to Tottori, Japan over April vacation with Green Across the Pacific. I have been fascinated with the culture of Japan since I was 3. I am an artist who enjoys Studio Ghibli movies and anime. My family and I were a host family last year, when Japanese students from Tottori visited Vermont. I am looking forward to visiting my Japanese friends that I made through the program when I go!
I am working with Green Across the Pacific to bring awareness to environmental issues in Japan and America and how our generation can create a more sustainable future.
I wont be able to afford this once in a lifetime opportunity without a lot of help. Every little bit helps me get closer to Japan!
