I am Ava and Travis’s daughter in law, married to Steven. As much of the SW Florida area is suffering from Hurricane Ian, so are Ava and Travis.

Their home is in Pine Island, FL which was one of the hardest hit areas and is currently not accessible by land. They have been able to reach their home by boat and assess the damages. It is going to be a long clean up and recovery process.

As the island is not accessible, the immediate need is for temporary housing and living expenses.

Long time residents of Pine Island, FL Ava and Travis are involved in the community and wish to stay nearby to get back to work and to start rebuilding as soon as possible.

A number of friends and loved ones have asked how to help so I am starting this GoFundMe as a way to get the help where it is needed and more urgently than FEMA or insurance.

Steven and I will make sure to get all donations to them asap, preferably through online banking but if they are still without service, he will be going down to help and will take it to them personally.
