10 Hours... that's all that was promised by the doctors when they decided to keep the baby. 10 hours at best was her life expectancy. Ava was born with Trisomy 18 and against all odds the Trejo family together chose life; and whatever that may look like they chose to go through it together.

3 years is what God gifted them with their little girl. February 7th Ava passed in her sleep and last week the family said their final goodbyes.

If you ask Angel, all he would say he wanted was 10 more hours with his baby girl.
