In memory of Ava Ferguson

This fundraiser has been started by Carley and Sarah (with permission from Britney and Josh).

The delightful, magical, sparkly Ava Ferguson passed away in a car accident on October 31 2025 at 3 years old. To know Ava was to love her - those beautiful blonde curls, mischievous blue eyes, and most gorgeous rosy cheeks! She was pure sunshine and delight wherever she went.

Ava is the much loved, cared for, and wanted little girl of Britney Bodie and Josh Ferguson, and adored little sister of Riley and Tyler. No family ever plans to have a funeral for their children, and now Britney and Josh are not only trying to survive each second without Ava, they also have to find a way to lay their precious little girl to rest.

Ava Cakes leaves behind many little friends at childcare, playgroup, and the many preschool activities and groups across the peninsula. Her loss is felt by so many of us in the community.
