Ava Cole & Gabriel Rodriguez
Donation protected
Ava Cole lost control of her vehicle and was fatally injured on 04/24/2023. She was 20 years old with so much life ahead of her. She was smart, artistic, and beautiful. Her boyfriend, Gabriel, passed away on the same day from a work-related skid steer accident. Ava didn’t want to be without him—leaving her family broken-hearted. She is no longer suffering from all the pain she has endured. Any funds donated to this will be used for funeral purposes for both families.
Update 4/25: Today it was decided with Gabriel’s family that Ava will be laid to rest alongside the love of her life. It is with utmost certainty that their love would’ve lasted a lifetime. Thank you so much for the donations. Lindsay and Justin appreciate you all more than you know. Services will be announced in the coming days.
Update 4/27: Beautiful girl’s services will be held Tuesday 5/2. This will be a dual casket ceremony along with her precious soulmate, Gabriel Rodriguez. May they both rest peacefully in each other’s arms.

Ava’s Obituary:
Ava Sue-Alyce Cole (20) of Sevierville, TN, passed away on April 24, 2023, from a car accident. Ava was born in New Hampshire on February 8, 2003, to Justin and Lindsay Cole. She has one sibling, Fiona Cole. In addition to her parents and sister, she left behind a loving extended family: Jacquelynn Mueller (great grandmother), Douglas and Dawn Cole (grandparents), Douglas and Sarah Cole (uncle and aunt), Christopher Cole (uncle), Ingrid and Ursula Cole (cousins), and many other great aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her loving boyfriend, Gabriel Rodriguez (20). Ava had the most beautiful singing voice and was a talented artist. Her artwork allowed others to see the world through her eyes in a beautiful and captivating way. In a 2018 collaborative project with the East Tennessee Art Education Association, she earned Best Computer Graphic for her art piece. Ava was kind, gentle, loving, compassionate, witty, had the best giggle, was the best snuggler, and she will be dearly missed. There will be a visitation for Ava at Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville, TN from 9:00-11:00 AM on May 2, 2023, with memorial services following at 11:00 AM.
Update 4/30: Gabriel’s services were today. He had impacted so many that there was standing room only. It was truly inspiring to see. He certainly lived a life that he, his family, and his friends were all so proud of in his short 20 years here on Earth.
I just wanted to mention that the proceeds from this fundraiser will be shared with The Rodriguez Family. They have graciously came together with The Cole Family to take on this heartache as one undivided family unit. The Rodriguez Family loved Ava so much. They are some very kind people. Everyone is completely overwhelmed with love and support. Please continue to think of them.
